This month sees us welcome the lovely people at Knibbs Computer Services Ltd aka “Knibbs” and their clients to the (Cow)fold – see what we did there? From the 1st April 2025 Knibbs and Wessex IT are officially one business.
We’re delighted to have Carl Phillips with us in his new role as Operations Manager for the combined business and Neil Phillips (no relation) remaining as dedicated as ever to the needs of his clients. Jason Clapham continues to lead day-to-day IT support operations supported by Greg Syer, who will eventually take on a more projects-focused role in the wider business. Jan Burnham continues to keep the financial wheels turning with all things Sage.
Founded by Tim Knibbs in 1998, the business has operated in Uckfield for most of that time and established a firm regional reputation for quality managed IT and cybersecurity services. Cybersecurity is a crucial, high-growth area and the complimentary capabilities of the two businesses is nothing but a win-win for clients.
Sadly Tim’s illness means he won’t be continuing his IT journey with us, but he’s still supporting behind the scenes for the time being and we wish him the very best for the future. He summed up the merger perfectly:
Over the next few weeks and months we’ll start to do more and more under the Wessex IT banner but for the time being it’s very much business as usual.
